My name is Colleen Spiro and I write this blog to share my search for God in my everyday life. I am a Catholic writer and have published several articles in Catholic magazines as well as Days of Reflection.
I am a spiritual director, certified at the Charismatic School for Spiritual Directors at Our Lady of Guadalupe Abbey in Pecos, NM, where I also became a Benedictine Oblate. I later became certified in Contemplative Spiritual Companioning.
I also publish and write Prayerful Morsels, a free bi-weekly e-mail newsletter with short little snippets of articles on prayer and seeking God.
There are many ways of seeking God. This blog has (or will have) a page on my newsletter, Benedictine spirituality, and spiritual direction. All may help you on your spiritual journey. And they will help me too as I struggle to find God in my everyday ordinary life.
Personal info
I am married to a Catholic deacon and we have two sons. I also have 4 stepchildren and 15 grandchildren. I work as a parish secretary.
I am an incest survivor and have written a memoir of how God has helped me on my journey. Check out my other blog, Surviving By Grace.
