Deo Gratias - Celebrations

If the only prayer you ever say in your life
is thank you, it will be enough." - Meister Eckhart

Deo Gratias is Latin for "Thanks be to God." Remembering to give thanks for all of our blessings, big and small, helps us to find God in our everyday moments and gives us an attitude of gratitude! I invite you to share your blessings here on Wednesdays. Be sure to sign into Mr. Linky below and grab the button to put on your blog!

1. Rain, rain, rain. The first week of hurricane season brought a tropical storm. Had rain for days. Loved watching the rain from inside my home but driving was no fun. Still I was grateful because my car's air conditioning was not working and the cloudy skies kept the temperature down. God is good.
2. And if we don't like the weather, we can just wait a minute! Saw a beautiful sunrise Monday morning. That made my day! Thank you, Lord!
3. Had an early Father's Day celebration for my hubby last weekend. We went out to breakfast with 2 of my stepsons and a daughter-in-law. It was a wonderful time of laughing and talking. We hope to see most of the rest of the kids this weekend. Family time. Thank you, Lord.
4. Hubby's foot is finally healing. Not all the way yet but well on the way. He feels better and seems more himself this past week. Thank you, Lord.
5. Now that hubby is feeling  a lot better, he is more himself and is back to cooking like himself and having fun doing it! Woo hoo! Thank you Lord!

We've got some storms headed our way & I'm supposed to go out this evening. Definitely not looking forward to driving in them!

I'm glad to hear hubby's foot is healing & that he's back to himself.

We had some rain too. Glad to hear the sun's out and your husband's getting better.

Maria, hope you got through the storms ok! I hate driving thru them too.

Susan, thank you!

Thanks Colleen! My plans ended up being cancelled & the storms didn't start until 2am. They were no where near as bad as they were predicting.

I am thankful you are seeing healing for your hubby. Today's weather here in Ohio was beautiful. I thanked God all day long and even sat outside a bit just soaking Him in!

Maria, glad you did not have to go out and the storms were not bad. So hard to predict those things.

Jean, so wonderful that you could soak Him in! And thanks for sharing your gratitude with us!
