Sunday Snippets - December 22

This is the weekly Catholic Carnival! Be sure to visit RAnn at This, That and the Other Thing and check out some posts from other bloggers participating in Sunday Snippets this week. Why not join us and share a blog post or two from last week?

Question of the week: Tell us about your family's Christmas traditions (other than religious).
We are a large family and a little out of the ordinary. My husband had 4 children with his first wife and then we had 2. All of us get together - 6 children, and their spouses and their children and my husband and me and his ex-wife and her mother and (other relatives from time to time) every Christmas Eve. We call it the "children's Christmas party" and we have the tree and lots of food. We all get together for Thanksgiving too, and Easter. We all get along because we do it for the children, who are now adults. In fact, many of the grandchildren are adults now too! Yikes!

Here are some posts from this past week:

1. Are You the One?

2. Light in the Darkness - Secret Santa

3. Deo Gratias - Busy, Busy, Busy

4. Sabbath Moments - God-with-Us

How in the world do you manage to get all the kids home for both holidays? Whew!

Kathleen, lol. Not easy! But they love these holiday get-togethers and most try to get here. Sometimes all of them make it! We are talking about 6 children and spouses and 16 grandchildren!
