Just Wanted to Share

According to Business Insider's article this weekend, Pope Paul VI, in Humanae Vitae, "... warned of four results if the widespread use of contraceptives was accepted:
  1. General lowering of moral standards
  2. A rise in infidelity, and illegitimacy
  3. The reduction of women to objects used to satisfy men.
  4. Government coercion in reproductive matters."
Hmmm. Prophetic, wasn't it?

Yes! I shared this earlier in the day on Facebook. I am enjoying some of this standing up lately for sound Catholic teaching in the midst of what we are in the midst of.

Me too, Colleen. And I think this controversy has done a lot to remind us that we do need to stand up for our faith more. Before it is too late and we are not free to practice it. Thank you!

All we have to do is look at the exponential spread and access to pornography and its slaves to see that Pope Paul VI was correct. We can only turn this all back if the bishops start teaching what the Church teaches and making sure the people understand it. This latest attack by the government on religious liberty may be the turning point for the Church in the USA.
